It was a great privilege to run a session at the IFB Conference this week looking at how to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in the next generation.

We all talk about responsible ownership and governance but to what extent does that stifle family innovation? How can we encourage the next generation of entrepreneurs and use the family business as a springboard for activity and education?

Joined by a brilliant panel made up of Jonny Wates (Wates Group) and Ruby Paxton (Habitat First Group), who shared their first hand experiences, we were able to delve into the importance of this topic as well as giving lots of examples and ideas of what families can be doing to help spark entrepreneurship within their own next generation.
